The Beverly Hills Art Show 2026

This spring, the 2026 Beverly Hills Art Show once again transformed Beverly Gardens Park into one of Southern California's most vibrant open-air cultural events. Held May 16–17 along four garden blocks stretching through the center of Beverly Hills, the free annual festival welcomed an array of visitors to experience the work of 250 artists from California, across the United States, and beyond.

Set against the palm-lined backdrop of Santa Monica Boulevard, the show offered an expansive survey of contemporary and traditional styles. Visitors explored booths featuring painting, sculpture, watercolor, photography, mixed media, ceramics, glass, jewelry, drawing, and printmaking, with every work presented directly by the artists themselves. The result was not only a marketplace for original art, but also a great opportunity to engage personally and get to know the creators behind the work.

One of the things that makes the Beverly Hills Art Show unique is how it combines an approachable atmosphere with a diverse mix of artistic styles and voices. Emerging artists exhibited alongside established names, while contemporary experimentation coexisted comfortably with more classical approaches. The atmosphere encouraged conversation and discovery, inviting attendees to move slowly through the exhibition and connect with artists in an approachable and beautiful setting. The people who happened to stumble upon it unknowingly were in for a real treat, while the ones who planned to attend knew what a great, relaxing, and inspiring way it is to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Beyond the artwork, the weekend carried the energy of a citywide celebration. Gourmet food trucks lined the park, live music filled the garden pathways, and artist demonstrations gave visitors a glimpse into creative processes in real time. Families gathered for children's art activities, while the wine and beer garden became a lively social hub all weekend long.

Community exhibits added another dimension to the event, reinforcing the show's long-standing role as both an arts destination and a public hangout space.

The Beverly Hills Art Show's competition has become an important part of the event's identity, giving both emerging and established artists public recognition while adding another layer of excitement for collectors and attendees.

Held twice annually since the 1970s — can you believe it? — the Beverly Hills Art Show has become one of the West Coast's most recognizable outdoor art festivals. The show continues to bring together artists, collectors, and the wider community, offering people the chance to experience art in a more open, relaxed setting outside of the traditional gallery space or indoor art fair.
